“Our AI pilots are not reaching production.”
The demo worked; the rollout stalled. The gap is organisational — ownership, data, integration and governance. I run a structured path out of pilot purgatory.

Problems I help solve
The demo worked; the rollout stalled. The gap is organisational — ownership, data, integration and governance. I run a structured path out of pilot purgatory.
Pilot-to-Production RecoveryNot a vendor deck — an honest read of maturity, material risks, priority use cases and an investment roadmap the board can actually fund.
Board AI Readiness SprintAgents embedded in SaaS, shadow AI in the workforce, non-human identities no one tracks. I put a control structure around it before a regulator or incident does.
Governance & risk reviewToken, inference, platform and run costs across a use-case portfolio — modelled as unit economics so spend is governed, not a surprise.
AI FinOps modellingFragmented IT across group companies, no shared services, unclear accountability. I have consolidated technology for a 400-company conglomerate — and can rewire yours.
Enterprise advisoryLicences are not adoption. From rolling Copilot out to 1,000+ users: measurement, change and the deflection numbers that justify the spend.

Current-state maturity across eight pillars, material risks, priority use cases, governance requirements and a funded 90-day action plan. Includes data-readiness, shadow-AI and non-human-identity diagnostics where relevant.
For AI pilots stuck on data, integration, ownership, governance or operating-model problems. Alignment, infrastructure, unit economics and incremental rollout — until the use case is producing measurable value.
Fractional advisory, steering-committee participation, architecture challenge, vendor evaluation and programme assurance — including IT operating model, shared services and AI for asset-heavy operations.
Board AI briefings, agentic-AI governance workshops, CIO strategy offsites and enterprise Copilot adoption programmes — built from delivery experience, not slideware.
About
Enterprise technology executive with 24+ years of global leadership across North America, LATAM, Europe, the UK, the Middle East and APAC — in banking, insurance, aviation, energy, manufacturing, hospitality, government and mobility.
As Group CIO of Mwasalat Holdings, I am rewiring a multi-entity enterprise group around AI orchestration, automation agents and real-time decision engines. Earlier: centralised IT for a 400-company Abu Dhabi conglomerate, led the technology behind Expo 2020 Dubai, and ran a 510-person analytics and delivery organisation at IBM.
My conviction is simple: in asset-heavy, public-facing businesses, technology is the product. The organisations that win treat AI as an operating discipline, pair engineering ambition with governance the public can trust, and measure success in outcomes the board can see.
